About Us

Getting Dressed Should Not Be The Hardest Part Of Your Day.

Two Frustrations Started This Label.

The first is that most of what is easy to buy looks cheap the moment it is on. The second is that most of what actually looks good is priced as though you only get dressed for weddings. Amorlane sits in the gap between the two. We work in six areas and nothing else, tops, outerwear, trousers, skirts, dresses and matching sets, and every piece is chosen on cut and fabric before anything else. A blazer has to hold a shoulder, a rib knit has to give without going shapeless, and a linen trouser has to fall from the waist rather than sit flat against the leg. If a style does not do its job on a real body it does not go on the site.

How We Keep The Prices Where They Are

We keep the range deliberately tight and we do not buy a whole season of stock that we then have to discount our way out of. That is the whole reason most of the collection lands between twenty and fifty dollars. It also means nothing here is stranded on its own: tailoring sits next to soft rib, linen next to satin, and the palette is narrow enough that pieces bought months apart still work together. Buy two things you like and you will find four or five ways to wear them before the month is out. There is no shop floor and no appointment to book, which is part of how the maths works, but there is a real person on the other end of the email. Write to us at support@amorlane.com about sizing, an order or a return and you will hear back within 24 hours.
